Distribution: 
In India it is known only from selective hill forests of Arunachal Pradesh. Probably found in Assam and Nagaland. Also found in south-west China. Type locality: Upper Rotung Valley, Abor Hills, NE Arunachal Pradesh, India.

Habitat: 
Found in moderate elevation (600 m approx) dense forests of Indo-China region. Other information of habitat should be more or less similar with typical hill living Kukri Snakes.
Natural History: 
Nothing much is known about its natural history except the fact that it is a nocturnal species which hides under heavy objects, loose soil and leaf litters.
Diet: 
Likely to feed on egg yolk of soft shelled eggs of reptiles.
Threats: 
As this species is known from selective localities of north-east forests, habit destruction is likely to be a population affecting factor for it.
