Scalation
Head: 
Prefrontals twice or nearly twice as long as the internasals. Supralabial 8 or 9; 4th & 5th, 3rd & 4th, 3rd to 5th or 4th to 6th in contact with eyes; last supralabial below eyes disconnected with anterior lower temporal; loreal 1, slightly longer than hight; preocular 1, sometimes a small subocular present in front of preocular which may unite with 3rd supralabial; postocular 2; temporal 1+3, 2+2, 2+3, 2+4 or 3+3. Anterior maxillary teeth largest.
Dorsal: 
Smooth or very lightly keeled scales in 21/23: 23: 17 rows.
Ventral: 
228-247 with strong lateral keel; anal divided.
Sub Caudal: 
72-92; paired. Hemipenis extends to 13th caudal plate.
